"iDea Mill has identified a clear need."

breeze is the brainchild of iDea Mill Technologies, a technology development shop that has for years created industry-changing software for the legal community. iDea Mill is an innovative company that listens to its customer, and it is through this mission that President and CEO of iDea Mill, Simon Aleman, saw the need for a framework like breeze.
Simon is a critical thinker with a passion for solving problems. Software development quenched it. After all, computer programs have fixed many great glitches of the 21st Century.
In the early 1990s, Simon developed software that increased the effectiveness and accountability of 911-dispatchers. Many lives are saved as a result. He has owned and operated highly successful litigation-support businesses since 2000, during which time he witnessed a digitalization of the paper-dependent field of law.
Simon saw firms bogged down by this transition. Too many were slowed by the steps between gathering information and the ability to use it. Simon knew there was an easier way than depending on and paying outside service bureaus to put information in a user-friendly format. That easier way is breeze.
“breeze will have the same effect that WordPerfect had on the legal market in the 80’s,” Simon said. “Once the PC was affordable and WordPerfect was released, the technology was decentralized and trickled down to everybody else. Efficiency and productivity skyrocketed. breeze will have that same effect on the document and image-processing tasks.”
When Simon isn’t solving problems, he’s hanging out with his wife and five children, one of whom, Brittney, works by his side. Don’t be surprised to see him skiing down a Colorado mountain or quietly fly-fishing along one of America’s great trout waters.
Brittney joined iDea Mill in May 2007 and has since introduced breeze across the country.
She brings with her strong experience from six years at Trial Resource Legal Systems in Oklahoma City, where Brittney was promoted to director of operations and trial consultant.
At Trial Resource, Brittney handled eDiscovery management processing and strategy, case management, software training, trial presentation and much more.
With a degree in economics from the University of Oklahoma, Brittney was a perfect fit for director of sales at iDea Mill. Brittney was inspired to enter the legal-support field by her father’s success in it. Her strength in communications and marketing melds with Simon’s technical knowledge to form an effective and unified team.
Brittney knows about teamwork. She’s an avid football fan and former coach to an all-girls basketball team. Although Brittney likes competition, she says the best part of coaching is the opportunity to be a positive influence and teach what sports is really about – challenging yourself.
Although Brittney only recently moved to Tulsa, she is a member of professional organizations, such as Tulsa Young Professionals, and balances many duties as the popularity and sales of breeze quickly grows.
