What is breeze?

breeze is comprehensive litigation-support software that enables paralegals & law firms to perform 80% of their image processing in-house instead of paying outside vendors to do the work.

That means firms can bill for those services or pass the savings onto clients. breeze also increases efficiency because firms can have working digital documents immediately, rather than waiting days for a vendor to do the job.

How does it work?

breeze transfers image files (e.g., PDF, TIF, JPG, GIF) into single-page TIF and JPG files that the user can easily load into databases like Summation, Concordance, Sanction and TrialDirector. It provides optical character recognition (OCR) and electronic Bates stamping. It is compatible with image files created by any multi-function device.

So, breeze allows file conversion and creation of digital documents to happen at a desktop computer, and its format is so simple that no training is needed to use it.

Why did you develop breeze?

The legal field is digitalizing – even some courts require digital filing. breeze eases the transition by facilitating digital storage and organization of trial materials, evidence and various documents. And with its affordable price tag, breeze is accessible.

So how much does it cost?

There are a few versions of breeze built for the different needs of firms.

• breeze Essentials (eStamp, OCR full text): $1,990 and $398 in required maintenance the first year.
• breeze Deluxe (document print, barcode breaker; plus, eStamp, OCR full text): $2,990 and $598 in required maintenance the first year.
• breeze Platinum eDiscovery (eDocs processing, mail-store processing; plus, eStamp, OCR full text, document print, barcode breaker): $3,990 and $798 in required maintenance the first year.

All activation is per workstation. Individual additional licensing is available. Maintenance is due annually. Price is subject to change without prior notice.
